Accessibility statement

A.L. Gibor Ltd. is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. The site was made accessible in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA. The adjustments were also checked against WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What has been made accessible in the site code

  • A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page, and marked regions: header, main menu, main content and footer.
  • A clearly visible focus outline on every link, button and field when navigating with the keyboard.
  • The mobile menu button works with the keyboard and screen readers and announces whether the menu is open or closed; the Esc key closes the menu and returns focus to the button.
  • The language switcher opens with the keyboard too, and each language link is marked with its language.
  • The project tabs on the home page can be operated with the keyboard (arrow keys).
  • Text alternatives for the logo, the certificates and the tab images on the home page.
  • The contact form fields have visible labels, marked required fields, autocomplete and error messages linked to each field; after a submission with errors, focus moves to the first field with an error. The form is available in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
  • A pause/play button for the background video on the home page; the video does not play automatically for users who have asked their operating system to reduce motion.
  • The certificate gallery buttons and the image viewer have labels in the page language.
  • Text colour contrast on solid backgrounds meets the requirements of the standard.
  • One H1 heading per page, a hierarchical heading structure, and language and direction set in each of the three language versions.

How the site was tested

The site was tested on 28.10.2026 with the automated checker axe-core and manually with keyboard navigation, at desktop (1366 px) and mobile (390 px) widths, on representative pages in Hebrew, Arabic and English.

Accessibility menu

The site includes a third-party accessibility menu (UserWay) that offers additional personal adjustments, such as larger text and contrast changes. The menu is an addition only: the accessibility of the site is based on the adjustments in the site code listed above.

Parts still being made accessible

  • Testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and at 200% zoom has not been carried out yet.
  • The contrast of text shown over photos and over the background video has not been checked yet.
  • Client and partner logos are shown without text alternatives.
  • YouTube videos on the project pages are embedded from an external service; captions depend on the video itself.
  • The map link leads to Google Maps, which is outside our control.
  • The UserWay accessibility menu is a third-party component outside our control.
